Background Info:

Born and raised in the Seattle area, with a B.A. from Seattle University and Masters in Teaching from The Evergreen State College. Fifteen years of classroom teaching experience at both project based and traditional schools in the South Sound area. Currently a teacher with the University of Washington TRIO Upward Bound program at Kent Meridian High School, teaching college preparation classes. UW UB’s mission is to get first generation and low income students successfully through high school and into a college of their choice. I have experience with supporting students through all aspects of the college process from advising high school course work, career exploration, applying to colleges/scholarships, financial and FAFSA advising and much more. I love my job and working with students to achieve their academic and personal goals!
